What you need to know to book
Am I Eligible to be Tattooed?
Some health conditions may mean that either its not possible to have tattooing or the outcome may not be what you expected.
For your own health and safety tattooing is not for clients who are:
- Pregnant or Breastfeeding
- Undergoing current chemotherapy/radiation (need to have been clear 6months or more and have GP approval)
- Have had an Organ Transplant and/or on anti rejection medication.
- Have been on Accutane(or other acne/skin medications) within the past 6months
- Prone to Keloid scarring
- Blood Disorders(haemophilia)
- Communicable Diseases (viruses, colds, flu etc)
The following conditions may be tattooed but it is in the best interests to please consult your doctor before proceeding and understand that results cannot be guaranteed and may require more frequent touch ups.
- Auto-Immune Conditions
- Heart Condition/Blood Thinners/Asprin(will need clearance from GP to come off medication 3-7days pre and post appoinment)
- Anti Depressants
- High/Low Blood Pressure
- Low Iron/Anaemic
Booking Your Appoinment
Once you have read through all the Pre Appointment, Aftercare, and are Eligible you can then Book an Appointment Online via the Book Online button and pay the non refundable Booking Fee.
Cosmetic Tattooing is performed from within the Briella Beautiful Salon in Eastern Heights QLD. I allow up to 3hrs for Initial Visits so please try and park in Queen Street opposite the salon as this is un-patrolled. Perfection Visits, Removals and Yearly Boosts are considerably shorter in time.
It is best to schedule your appointments at a time when you will be able to follow all Pre Procedure and Aftercare, and remember if this is your first visit you will need to ensure you can also allow for this prep for the 6-10wk Perfection Visit.
Same protocols apply for subsequent Refresh Appoinments, Saline Removals and Faux Freckles.
Booking Fee and Cancellation Policy
Cosmetic Tattooing is the only treatment type I charge a booking fee for and this is due to the fact that it is a speciality service performed from a seperate location and requires much larger appointment times that can not easily be filled last minute due to the preparation involved and products/equipment required.
Because of these factors this fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE in any case. Any cancellations will forfeit the fee as will No Shows and Late Reschedules with less than 72hrs notice.
An email reminder is sent 4 days prior to the appointment to allow adequate notice should you need to reschedule, however please be mindful that the more notice given the better to allow time for other clients to schedule an appointment in your place.
You will also receive an SMS 2 days prior.
Due to Australian Government Law, all anaesthetics must be paid for by the client and scripted for their own personal use.
Once booking has been confirmed I will send a link to my Compounding Pharmacy for purchase. These specialist numbing agents are then sent to the studio to be used on the day of your appointment. Please order preferably ONE week prior(no less than 3 days prior) to your appointment.
There is no need to pre numb as this will be done on the day.
